Our featured 2008 NFL mock draft
is by Fred Tomasello. With the first pick Fred has
Miami taking Jake Long, OT, Michigan. He says "This guy is a 10 year starting tackle in the Bill Parcells tradition of Jumbo Elliott. A character guy who is built like Hercules, he is a premier run blocker who with improvement of his footwork, can develop into a premier pass blocker as well. CANT MISS! The only tackle on the Dolphins roster is Julius Wilson a '07 free agent out of Alabama-Birmingham UGH! The Dolphins want offers for this pick, but I don't think they will be able to trade down. UPDATE: Signed sealed and delivered 4/22" Check out the rest of his mock draft. |

Our second featured mock draft
is by Kyle McDaniels. St. Louis might have the second pick and Kyle thinks they will use it to select Jake Long, OT, Michigan. McDaniels reports the following on the Rams pick: "Not quite Joe Thomas, Jake Long will be a very productive Tackle in the NFL for years to come. Orlando Pace has been hampered by injuries and his ever increasing age, so Long is the obvious choice here."

Ben Newman adds our third featured 2008 NFL mock draft. With the third pick Ben thinks Atlanta will take Jake Long, OT, Michigan. Ben says "Atlanta is a team in shambles, and they need to effectively completely reconstruct their entire team. The best way to do this is to draft a potential franchise quarterback. Ryan may not have the arm strength of some of the other top prospects this year, but he has all the intangibles possible. He harbors many comparisons to Tom Brady with his coolness under fire, and extremely accurate passes. Ryan has played under the former Green Bay Packers Quarterback's coach this past season at BC, and therefore has learned to effectively run a pro style offense."
